HANSATON, innovations for better hearing.

Research and development are an investment in the future - in the case of the first production of HANSATON's own hearing instruments, success appeared five years after establishment: The legendary 133 BI-HT-PC represented a breakthrough and received global recognition. The BTE hearing instrument with the complicated name was the first two-channel device in which speech intelligibility and hearing comfort were groundbreakingly separated. Many were to follow this technical innovation right up to the present day. As well as the rapidly advancing hearing instrument technology, cosmetic aspects and the design of a hearing instrument soon grew in importance.

In recent years, HANSATON has been given several international awards in these areas too. In the case of FREE for example, which is really more a "sound manager" than a hearing instrument or recently for STYLE, the hearing system with the individual "Design & Go" concept.

HANSATON proves in many areas how closely linked the latest technology is with environmental awareness: as a pioneer and market leader in battery technology solutions for hearing instruments like AQ for example. Or with energy-saving hearing systems that require fewer batteries and therefore conserve the environment.
