HANSATON, the successful family business.
When Rudolf Fischer founded Hansaton Akustik GmbH in 1957 and in the following years built up the sales of the American hearing instrument manufacturer Qualitone in Europe, he probably didn't think that his son would have even bigger things in mind.
Uwe Fischer started off in his father's company in 1967 with his own development department: starting with hearing and speech systems for schools for the deaf and hard-of-hearing, the first Hansaton BTE-hearing instrument was developed as long ago as 1970.
Since then, many innovations from Hamburg have attracted worldwide attention - HANSATON hearing systems are worn by people in over 70 countries.
Europe and America are, as before, the decisive continents for the company. Now in the hands of the third generation, development and expansion are driven forward from the quality headquarters in Germany.
Together with their father, Andreas and Johannes Fischer have a modern and successful manufacturing model: the utmost quality, made by people for people - an idea that has been implemented enthusiastically for more than 50 years.
